Buz Reynolds

William H. (Buz) Reynolds grew up in Miami Florida and attended Stetson University.

He entered the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lt and after 23 years of active duty, entered private business working for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Reynolds was involved in environmental measurements of the Space Shuttle Launch facility prior to becoming CSC Business Development Director. Leaving CSC, Mr. Reynolds became Senior Vice President of Planning Research Corporation, a division of Black & Decker. He formed Leading Edge Marketing and Proposal Company in 1991 providing consulting services to Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon and Grumman, among other aerospace customers.

Mr. Reynolds moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1989, having spent vacations here since 1981. Mr. Reynolds' volunteer work includes Volusia County Sheriff’s office, the City of New Smyrna Beach Hurricane Relief effort during the storms of 2004 and serving on the New Smyrna Beach Golf Advisory Board prior to his appointment to the Utilities Commission. He also serves on the Bert Fish Medical Center as a member of the Foundation Board.

Mr. Reynolds is an undergraduate of Stetson University with a MBA from Troy University. He also completed the Senior Executive course at the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Reynolds is a photographer of fine arts and enjoys the art exhibits among the many galleries in New Smyrna Beach. His goal is to represent the citizens of New Smyrna Beach and all Utilities Commission customers to ensure efficient delivered services and satisfaction with the quality of products provided by the Utilities Commission.
